Take afternoon tea in a flowery giant birdcage this summer

Afternoon tea will be served in an oversized birdcage with floral motifs in a restaurant in West London this summer.

Guests at Bluebird Chelsea can enjoy drinks and snacks, including afternoon tea, at the Nyetimber English Garden. The menu includes passion fruit quark macaroons, Snickers cuts, Banoffee chocolate mugs and lemon meringue cake.

The huge birdcage decorated with "a wealth of flowers" can accommodate up to six people for afternoon tea and four to ten for drinks and snacks.

It's open from July to October at Bluebird Chelsea, 350 King's Rd, SW3 5UU. Advance booking recommended.
